The Republic of Vanuatu was formerly known as the New Hebrides.
It's government used to be split between the French and the English.
Vanuatu is located in the southwest Pacific- about 1,200 miles
northeast of Brisbane, Australia. It consists of 82 islands
seven of which are inhabited. Vanuatu became independent in 1980.
To the best of my knowledge they have only one National Police Service.
