The French Overseas Territory of Wallis and Futuna are located
close to Samoa. These remote islands are administered from New
Caledonia. There are more Wallis & Futuna natives living in New
Caledonia then are left living in their homeland.

The islands still have three traditional Kings and the symbols of each
are located in the scroll on the patch shown below. The only law enforcement
officers on the islands are the French Gendarmerie who come here from
from New Caledonia for 6 month assignments.
